Fitness

The Hallett Community Center offers a wide variety of Group Fitness Classes, Educational Programs, Personal Training Services, and Kids Programs. These programs are the keys you and your family need to reach your wellness and fitness goals.  All  group fitness  classes  are  included with membership. 

Core

This will focus on the torso and sling muscles that connect your upper body to your lower body. This workout will help to tighten the abdominals and glutes, as well as improving functional strength. This is a temporary class being held during the month of March in place of Aquafit. Come strengthen your core with Karen!

HIIT/Bootcamp is currently on HOLD. 

Spin

Join us Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings at 5:45am for an upbeat and challenging 1-hour spin class. In spin you set your own resistance while guided by our instructor, Lori. These classes usually feature lots of energy, sweat, and music! 

*We are no longer requiring members to sign up for bikes. Bikes are available on a first come, first serve basis. 

Yoga

Active Flow Yoga with Natalie
Tuesdays at 5:00pm and Saturdays at 8:30am
Improve flexibility, posture and strength while linking breath with movement for increased energy during this yoga flow. Modifications will be offered to make postures more gentle or challenging during this 60 minute class.
 
Beginner Yoga with Natalie
Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am
This class will teach proper alignment while flowing through a gentle practice to stretch and destress. Beginning class but all are welcome to this 45 minute class!
 
Slow Flow Yoga with Natalie
Thursdays at 4:00pm
Hatha yoga is a balancing practice that focuses on breath and posture. A gentler practice than Vinyasa, Hatha yoga works to balance the solar and lunar energies of the body, mind and spirit. 

Chair Yoga with Natalie
Fridays at 9:00am – 9:45am
Stretch, breathe and learn some of the basics of yoga, all from the comfort of a chair. 

Balanced Fitness 

Mondays & Wednesdays 10:00-10:45am  with Donovan
Challenge your balance and stability in this practical class. Improve the strength in key joints and some brain stimulation to keep you upright on the right path to wellness.  This is an beginner level  class for seniors.

Fit Over 50 

Mondays and Wednesdays 9:00am-9:45am with Karen
Focusing on muscular strength, range of motion, activity for daily living skills, and low impact cardio. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance.  This is a intermediate level class for seniors.   

Aqua Fit – ON HOLD WHILE POOL IS SHUT DOWN

Tuesday and Thursdays 9:00am-9:45am with Karen
Do you want an aerobic workout with the added benefit of water resistance? How about a class without all the impact on your joints? Our class will take you through a wide range of exercise levels. Go as hard or as light as you want to! This is a great class for the very fit or a beginner!
