In order to use The Hallett Center, you must have an active membership or pay a daily user fee.

Facility Policies

General Facility Policies

Taking photos or filming of others is not permitted without their prior knowledge and consent. Under no circumstances is any photography or filming permitted within the locker rooms or sauna.  No use or possession of alcohol, drugs, or firearms on Hallett Center Property.  Smoking, tobacco use, and vaping are not allowed inside or within 20ft of the Center.

The Center does not permit and will not tolerate any inappropriate conduct such as and not limited to; inappropriate or unauthorized use of equipment and facility, using loud, abusive, offensive, insulting, demeaning language, profanity, lewd conduct or any conduct that harasses or is bothersome to members, guests or employees.

Hours of Operation

Winter hours are in effect October 1st through April 30th. Summer hours are in effect May 1st through September 30th. There is 24-hour access 7 days a week access to the fitness center with the add on to your membership.

Summer: Monday – Friday 5AM – 8PM, Saturday 7AM – 4PM, Sunday CLOSED
Winter: Monday – Friday 5AM – 9PM, Saturday 7AM – 7PM, Sunday 11AM – 7PM

Dress Code

The Center requires you to wear appropriate clothing and footwear while in the Center.  General guidelines are as follows; gym shorts, T-shirts, jogging, aerobic, and sweat outfits are approved for exercising or aerobics. Swimsuits are required in the pool and sauna.  Debris-free and dry shoes are required in our fitness center.

Lost & Found Policy 

The Hallett Center keeps Lost & Found items behind the front desk by request. All items have a 2-week grace period. If they remain unclaimed after that period, we reserve the right to donate all items. 

Fitness Center / Group Fitness Studio Policies

Equipment

The Center reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or restrict the use of outside equipment in the facility. Improper use or incorrect form when using equipment is prohibited. 

Footwear

Debris-free, closed toe, and dry shoes are required in our fitness center and our group fitness studio

Arena Policies

General Policies

All arena users must check in at the front desk before getting on the ice. Taking photos or filming others is not permitted without prior knwledge. Under no circumstances is any photography or filming permitted in locker rooms. No use or possession of illicit substances on Hallett Center grounds or within 20 feet of the center.

The Hallett Center does not permit and will not tolerate any inappropriate conduct such as, and not limited to: inappropriate or unauthorized use of equipment and facilities, using loud, abusive, offensive, derogatory, or discriminating language. Profanity, lewd conduct, or any conduct that is bothersome to our members, guests, and staff.

Street shoes and dirty boots are not permitted on our ice.

Broomball

Broomball events are scheduled throughout the season based on ice availability. Clean boots are required.

Gear

The Hallett Center requires you to wear appropriate protective gear during open hockey or any time a puck is on the ice, including but not limited to: helmets, elbow pads, shin guards, and gloves.

Minors

All minors who are not members must be accompanied by an adult while using the facility. If minors have a membership, the following usage applied: 15 and under must be supervised by an adult while using the Arena. 16 and over can use the arena unsupervised.

Open Hockey

Open hockey is a scheduled activity subject to user fees. There is youth open hockey and adult open hockey. Adult open hockey is available to participants 16+ in accordance with the member and non-member policies. Open hockey is recreational level, and games will be formed when there are enough participants. Games are self-managed. All participants must sign in at the front desk. All participants that are not members must stop by the front desk to pay fees and sign waivers. All must be appropriately dressed in protective gear.

Personal Property

The Hallett Center is not responsible for lost or stolen property. Gear left in lost & found falls under Hallett’s lost and found policy (see policies for more information)

Sticks and Pucks

Sticks and pucks are permitted during open hockey and during non-designated times when other skaters on the ice agree to gameplay and are in proper protective gear. Sticks and pucks are not allowed during public open skate times. 

Service Policies

Locker Usage

The Center provides lockers for members to use while using the facility. The Center is not responsible for any theft of or damage to your property.

We offer an option to keep a locker here overnight for $8 a month with a lock provided by us.

If you are not renting the locker and leave a lock on a locker while you’re not in the gym, the Center will consider your property abandoned and has the right to cut off the lock. If you do not claim your property within 2 weeks, the Center shall have the right to donate your property to charity.

Personal Training

We have 4 personal trainers currently on our staff. Our training services available to our members and non-members for varying rates. No member may train another member for compensation. If the Center determines that such training occurs, the trainer and/or trainee’s membership may be terminated. Check out our personal training page for more details. 

24-Hour Access

No member with 24/7 privileges will allow anyone into the Center. Even if the member is on a membership with another, they each need to have their own 24hr pass and check in separately when using the facility after hours.  If the member is found to not be following the Center’s policies or should payment not be received, 24/7 privileges will be revoked.

 

Membership Policies

Couple or Family Memberships

This membership includes spouse or domestic partner and their legal, youth dependents up to age 21. Once a member turns 22, they are no longer eligible to be on the family membership and must be on individual. Individual memberships permit the primary account holder to be able to bring in their children under 12 for free. 12 and up need a day pass to come in, or need to be on a family membership. Youth memberships start at 16 – 18 and must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. Grandparents or adult siblings are not included in the family membership. Grandparents cannot include grandchildren on their membership unless they provide documentation that they have legal guardianship of the grandchild.

Enrollment Fees

Your enrollment fee is a one-time charge that activates your membership. An enrollment fee will be assessed if the membership has been cancelled for over 60 days.

Membership Cancellations

Membership cancellation must be in the form of a written notice; cancellation form, emailed letter to the membership manager, or mailed letter. A 30-day notice is required. 

Membership Holds

A membership hold means you will not be charged dues or allowed access to the facility while your account is on hold. You may put your membership on hold for up to four months, once per billing year for a $35 fee. If you need to put your membership on hold for a medical reason, a note from your physician is required to activate a hold and reactivate the membership. There will be no charge for a medically induced hold with proper paperwork. To place your membership on hold, request a hold form from our front desk staff. 

Method of Payment

Monthly memberships require a card or EFT Bank account to be on file and automatically charged every month. Term memberships are paid in full upfront. If an EFT does not go through, the membership will be immediately suspended until payment has been made. It is the member’s responsibility to update account information with us to avoid missed payments. If a payment declines, service fees and late fees apply. 

Minors

0-11 years old are able to use the pool and arena while supervised by an adult

12-15 years old are able to use the pool, arena, and fitness center while supervised by an adult

16-17 years old are able to use the arena, pool, and fitness center without adult supervision BUT cannot sign for themselves.

Any minor must have a waiver on file signed by the parent or legal guardian. If a parent or guardian is unavailable to come in, they can sign online here.
