Cuyuna Range Whitetails 25th Annual Banquet

April 11th Begins at 5pm

This banquet is a fundraiser for supporting local youth. This fundraiser includes a live auction, a silent auction, multiple raffles, and guns for prizes! Registration is required by April 1st to attend! $60 for adults, $50 for children 5 – 17 (5 is the minimum age to attend), Sponsor Packages are available. Funds in the past have helped support scholarships for Forkhorn Camp, Youth Lifetime Deer Hunting Licenses, Firearm Safety Programs, Youth Day events, and Local habitat projects. Spring Health Fair

April 25th 10am – 4pm 

During the month of April, we will be hosting a one-day health fair hosting over 50 local vendors, organizations, and clubs for our community. This free event will be held in our Arena and is open to the public. Explore a sea of tables and learn about your local resources, maybe even finding a new product or club you want to join. This can be a great resource to members of the community and is a one – stop shop for all things health related! Our Health Fair is centered around the 8 pillars of wellness: Occupational, Environmental, Financial, Physical, Emotional, Spiritual, Social, and Intellectual. 

We also have a full schedule of interesting speakers planned from many of the groups!

Lastly, we will be raffling off door prizes, thanks to the generous donations from many of the groups attending. Check in at our welcome table to get your ticket and take a look at all the items that will be raffled off throughout the day! Door prize max value has recently increased to $350! It’s worth showing up for. All attendees will be given one raffle ticket entered in all drawings throughout the day.

Past Events

Iron Ranger Triathlon

February 2026

We enjoyed hosting our second annual Iron Ranger Indoor Triathlon. This event provides a great opportunity to stay motivated during those winter months and compete with your own best time. Racers started in our lap pool swimming then biking on our spin bikes and running on our treadmills or ellipticals. They made it look easy and we were happy to host the event, with custom T-shirts for each racer. We also had some participate in our long course edition, which allowed racers to fill out a log of their completed exercises towards their goals within the month of February! 

Pumpkin Decorating Contest

October 2025

We hosted a community pumpkin decorating contest throughout the month of October! This event got a lot of casual engagement from members and non-members alike and we enjoyed seeing the wide array of gorgeous gords that were submitted to us. Votes quickly came in the last week of the month, and we were able to do 2 bonus categories thanks to extra donations. Thank you to our sponsors, MidMinnesota credit union, Super One, Northwoods Floral & Gifts, and Una Rakki for helping put together prize baskets. The results were as follows:

September 2025

We encouraged our members to bring in donations for the month of September for our local Cuyuna Range Food Shelf! We were pleasantly surprised by the donations we received and are happy to announce we reached a total of 235 pounds of food & goods donated for the month of September! Now THAT’s giving back to the community!

 

Our Second Annual Hallett Freedom 5K

July 3rd 2025

This year was our second annual, Hallett Freedom 5K Run or Walk. This event took place on the very hot July 3rd and we had 81 participants! It was so exciting to see all of the spirit our community brought to the event with their 4th of July colors! We would like to thank our wonderful sponsors, Anderson Brothers, Graphic Packaging, Essentia Health, Davis Construction, Jamie Koop Insurance, Super One, MidMinnesota, ACE hardware, Grand Casino, The Deerstand, and Nord Hus. They provided funding, raffle prizes, refreshments, and door prizes! Thank you to all who attended and supported this event!
