This 45-minute class is the only class we offer in our pool. This low-impact option is perfect for keeping the pressure off your joints while strengthening your muscles. It’s kind of like wearing weights around your entire body, as the water adds about a %13 resistance to every movement done in the water. Even if you can’t swim, all workouts are done in standing-depth water so don’t let that stop you! This could be a great option for keeping pressure off of old injuries, returning to working out after being sedentary for a stint, or if you are high risk for falls.
Did you know that aqua fit is also a great option for pregnancy? The water pressure helps with many common symptoms like inflammation, gastrointestinal issues, and back pain. This is a great safe option for strengthening while pregnant, as there is also no fall risk!
Reduce your risk of injury and strengthen those stabilizer muscles that do not always get put to use! Increase your balance and posture with our Balance class. This 45-minute class is one of our slower-paced options and it great for anyone new to fitness or looking to feel more stable for daily living needs.
This 45-minute class is a great option for all skill levels. Get that feel-good stretch in and unwind from your week in this slow-paced, easy to follow option. Most of class is done seated too, so no need to worry about balance or getting down on the mat and up again. A chair is provided for assistance with poses, occasional blocks and straps are used in class to help get that full stretch in. Leave feeling stretched and refreshed!
This class is our most popular option! This class ranges from 45-minutes to an hour, depending on which class time you attend. This is a great, efficient, full body workout. Focuses of the class include increasing muscular strength, range of motion, and low impact cardio health. Occasional props are used like dumbbells, barbells, mats, and elastic bands. If you are looking to get full body done, without guessing at what workouts will work, our instructors will tell you exactly how to fit it in. This could be a great addition to your existing routine or a great way to start one.
HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. This is a 1-hour class that is a great cardio option. It focuses on muscles working together to create dynamic strength from your nose to your toes. Enhance your overall athletic performance with this class and challenge yourself in this class. Class is paced 45 seconds working 15 second break for most of the workout, usually working in circuits. This class is an evening option working up your appetite just in time for supper!
This 1-hour high energy, instructor guided workout uses our stationary spin bikes. The workout is generally paced to music to help keep the intensity throughout and get that cardio health in tip-top-shape. The resistance on all bikes is adjustable so you can adjust the intensity as you go and keep yourself challenged, regardless of skill level.
