
The SilverSneakers Group Exercise Class
1. SilverSneakers® I--Muscular Strength & Range of Movement is the core class for older adults. It is designed to increase strength, range of movement, agility, balance, and coordination and to improve participants' functional capacities, physical fitness level, and sense of well-being.
These classes are appropriate for individuals who are fit and active as well as those who are sedentary, intimidated, unfamiliar with exercise, or entering post-rehabilitation programs, and/or those who enjoy a positive social environment.
This class meets MWF from 9:45-10:45am
2. Cardio Circuit cardiovascular exercise is the highlight this program. The class features upperbody strength workouts using hand-held weights, elastic tubing, and the SilverSneakers ball, alternated with non-impact aerobic activity. Members addressing cardiac and respiratory ailments will find the exercises safe and effective for both the heart and lungs. A chair is available for support and head-to-toe stretching.

3. SilverSneakers® YogaStretch is a special yoga class in which you'll learn gentle, effective stretching that can help maintain joint flexibility and prevent injury. Increasing your muscular endurance will also improve muscle tone, and the restorative breathing exercise will help you relax physically and mentally.
