The Hallett Community Center ’s recreational programs are professionally directed by an experienced staff. HCC is proud of its recreational program offerings, including:
LAKES AREA ADULT HOCKEY LEAGUE
Adult hockey featuring former professional, collegiate and high school players. Teams travel to HCC from Crosslake, Pequot Lakes, Brainerd, Aitkin and Deerwood to play a full winter schedule on Sunday nights, culminating with the battle for the “Hallett Cup”.
SATURDAY NIGHT SHINNY
Adult, co-ed pick-up hockey featuring a no-check, no slap shot format, where memories are relived from our old “pond hockey” days. No scores or statistics are kept in a non-competitive atmosphere.
ADULT KICKBALL
We will be rolling out a new co-ed activity geared for couples and families. The same game we played as children will be recreated for adults in a non-competitive league offering exercise without fear of injury.
CO-ED VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE
Get your team of 6 men and women ready! Challenge your friends, family, and co-workers to a fun game of volletball. Our league will be starting June 6 and playing on Tuesday nights through the summer.
